Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of a High School diploma
  • Studying towards a degree in a business or finance related field is desirable.
  • Experience in cold calling advantageous
  • Ability to communicate clearly telephonically
  • Ability to network and generate prospects
  • Intermediate PC knowledge and ability to operate database systems (CRM)

New business development is a key aspect of building our sales pipeline. The main purpose of the BDC role is to generate new business through lead generation to generate appointments for Consultants/Financial Advisors.

Responsibilities

  • Making calls to leads around the world to introduce the company.
  • Generate leads and contact prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s financial products and services
  • Research and follow up on new business opportunities
  • Ensure targets are met weekly for appointment booked
  • Capture any required data in the CRM system or required template accurately

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Marketing, Law or Finance.
  • Relevant regulatory qualifications required based on the relevant region
  • International exposure preferred•3 years+ proven working experience as a financial advisor
  • Proven working experience as an investment adviser
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Track record of successful financial guidance in previous roles
  • Excellent PC knowledge and ability to operate database systems

Austen Morris Associates are always looking for experienced and highly qualified international financial advisors/consultants

  • Provide strategic advice across a variety of financial products and services
  • Meet with prospects and clients, conducting a detailed financial analysis in order to determine opportunities for onshore and offshore personal wealth portfolios, retirement planning, insurance, education planning and estate planning.
  • Always act in the best interest of the client by providing unbiased and professional advice.
  • Reviewing and responding to clients changing needs and financial circumstances
  • Guide clients towards profitable and secure financial decision/s.
  • Comply with all industry rules and regulations across different domiciles
  • Producing financial reports and reviews that reflect AMA’s professional standard and follow the relevant governance process.
  • Generate new business with existing clients with regular reviews of opportunities that exist.
  • Support relevant marketing campaigns and initiatives
