Chimanay is a hardworking, self-motivated and ambitious individual. Born in Cape Town where she lived until she was a young adult, following high school Chimanay completed a Certificate in IT Programming and Networking but then changed gears and started a career in Corporate Event Management. Chimanay was based in Cape Town but worked for an international company, representing the company’s Stockholm branch in South Africa, where she was responsible for booking in Senior Corporate delegates to attend industry specific summits and conferencing events.
In 2007 she moved to Johannesburg and got involved in the recruitment and training industry, in 2011 she was recruited to serve as an Outsourced Account Manager for a leading healthcare and hygiene product company, this position enabled her to get back to the sales and marketing side of the business.
In 2014 Chimanay made a choice to change from the healthcare retail space and joined the world of Financial Services, she was focused on the Private Wealth Management sector of the industry, her initial role was as a Business Development Agent and thereafter as a Financial Coordinator. Chimanay, further developed her skillset and training by completing the RE5 regulatory examinations which enabled her to move into an administrative position where she primarily deals with existing clients.
