Thank you to all guests who attended the Austen Morris Associates Private Client Dinner in association with Walton International. The evening was held at Maya, one of Shanghai’s most popular restaurants on Thursday, June 21st. Guests were treated to a sumptuous menu with wine pairings during the evening including chicken quesadillas, paired with a glass of Tenuta Sant Anna Extra Dry Prosecco. The a scallop ceviche cocktails, served with a glass of Equus Chardonnay, Maipo Valley, Chile 2010, followed by shrimp tostaditas with a glass of Rochford Pinot Noir Macedon Ranges, Australia 2008 and finally MAYA’s classic blackened prime Angus beef, with chili-roasted potatoes and garlic olive oil served with a glass of Artadi Tempranillo, Rioja, Spain 2009. The evening ended with MAYA chocolate lava cake served with a glass of Graham’s, ‘Six Grapes’ Reserve Port and a glass of Patron Anejo.
The speaker of the evening included Nick Rickett, Vice President, Pre-Development Land Investment of Walton Investments who presented the latest on land investments in the US. The Walton International presentation covered the following:
