On Thursday, September 20, Austen Morris Associates hosted a Private Client Dinner at Madison Restaurant. Guests and friends were the first in Shanghai to enjoy the delightful tastings of chef and owner Austin Hu at the new Madison Restaurant. The dinner started with a fig and coppa ham salad with burrata cheese, frisee and vin cotto paired with a Maison Champy Macon Village Blanc 2007, Chardonnay, a warm flounder crudo with matsutake, lemon confit and chervil paired with a MOMO 2010, Sauvignon Blanc and a roasted snapper with white beans, fennel and chorizo paired with a Hewitson Miss Harry Rhone blend 2010, Grenache/Syrah/Mourvèdre. The main course was a Wagyu duo with potatoes, broccolini and glazed shallots paired with a 2007, Zinfandel. The evening ended with a delicate vanilla panna cotta with blueberries, lemon and oatmeal crunch and coffee or tea.
The evening was co-sponsored by REDEV Property Investments.
