Thank you to all guests who attended the Private Client Dinner sponsored by Austen Morris Associates and hosted by Senior Partner Mr. Jon Holand and Associates Mr. Lawrence Barrett and Mr. Lars Woldern on Thursday November 10th at El Patio in Shanghais famous French Concession.
The evening began with a welcome glass of Spanish Bubbles “Freixenet” while guests mingled in the foyer. The meal was designed especially for Austen Morris Associates by the chef to present an Authentic Spanish Tapas Degustation. Dinner included homemade bread and Salmorejo dipping sauces followed by the in house special Smoked Salmon “real time experiment,” tuna Chimichurri with black olives, roasted lamb with smoked cheese, fresh mushrooms from “La Toscana” with Foie, poached egg, black truffle and French fries.
The Main courses where a choice between imported Ox tail from “La Maestranza,” baked wild sea bass with potato cream, or baked veggies “escalivada” with carbon oil. All courses served with wine pairings introduced by the sommelier. The dinner ended with a desserts tasting of El Patio’s signature specialties. The evening was a wonderful opportunity for clients and guests to get to know associates and enjoy the delights of the local Spaniards.
