In addition to the launch of the new brand, I would like to share with you many exciting updates from our offices across the world. We are proud to announce the expansion of the team in the Philippines office, welcoming six new members to the Business Development and Client Services Departments.
In August, we hosted our first Private Client Dinner, giving us the opportunity to catch up with over 40 of our clients and partners. Thank you to RL360’s Graeme Ison for joining and supporting the event. To support our engagement within the community, we will join the European Chamber of Commerce Philippines.
In September, our Africa office hosted the global partner meeting and team training retreat in Johannesburg, welcoming over twenty two team members, friends and family from offices around the world. 
Earlier in the summer, the South Africa office was proud to sponsor a hole at the Country Club of Johannesburg’s annual Men’s and Women’s Charity Golf Day. The Africa Regional Manager and Consultants participated and the proceeds went towards the Sunshine Association and CAS. We would also like to thank RL360 for hosting myself, Managing Senior Partner James Colclough and Senior Partner Jon Holand at the Victoria Falls Broker Convention in Zambia this September. The event was a huge success with highlights including the David Livingston Safari, a river cruise and helicopter flight. It was a pleasure to spend some time with other highly regarded financial services companies in the world. We are looking forward to expanding throughout Africa.
This September, our China office sponsored and participated in TheCommunity Center Shanghai 123orientation where the first of this year’s events received fifty three new expats. We have been partners with The Community Center Shanghai since 2011 and look forward to continuing for many years to come. Austen Morris Associates participated in the Shanghai Expatriate Association (SEA) coffee morning at the Regal International East Asia Hotel as well as sponsored the first Annual Shanghai Giving Day and the Charity LINK on October 8.
As you may know, we have been busy as the organising sponsors of Shanghai’s 4th Annual Chi Fan for Charity, China’s largest food and beverage event to benefit charity. Many of our clients and friends will join us for this widely regarded annual event held at over 40 restaurants in Shanghai.It gives me great pleasure to announce three exciting new appointments within the partner team.
Mr. Stuart Baldwin has rejoined Austen Morris Associates as a Senior Partner. With his vast knowledge and qualifications within the industry, Austen Morris Associates couldn’t be more excited to have been able to entice Mr. Baldwin back to his roots. His experience and access to a new range of markets will help to support our business in the wake of celebrating our 20th Anniversary of doing sustainable business. I would like to congratulate Mr. Matthew Riddington for becoming a Partner at Austen Morris Associates. Since joining the financial services industry in 1992, Mr. Riddington has enjoyed a successful and dynamic career. He holds the appropriate regulatory qualifications for financial planning and has Advanced Licensing in many areas of expertise attained during his twenty year industry career. Another congratulations to Mr. William Coppin on his promotion to Partner at Austen Morris Associates. Mr. Coppin has been working with Austen Morris Associates for over four years and specialises in helping his international clients to understand the benefits of saving for their future while living internationally.
