Austen Morris Associates’ Senior Associate, Mr. Max Gonella and Senior Partner Mr. Wade Dawson sponsored the first Family Tennis Tournament at Joy Tennis Club in Shanghai. Over 40 clients, friends and tennis players gathered on Sunday afternoon in the Minghan district to learn, play and compete in one of the world’s most popular sports.
All guests participated in the fun; from kid’s games instructed by some of the best coaches, to amateur and professional matches on the three indoor courts. Guests also enjoyed a catered buffet breakfast, lunch and a wine tasting by WineKnot.
The Austen Morris Cup Awards were divided into three categories including Champions of the day, Best Partners, and Most Active. Players Vincent Oliver and Richard Hsu tied as the Champions of the day, while James Brearley and Florent won Best Partners and Sunny Brearley and Corrado Forccllati received the trophy for Most Active players. Additional Nike Sponsored tennis apparel and prizes were given to each of the guests.
