On May 14th, 2015 Senior Partner Jon Holand presented a seminar at the Jin Cai International School for the parent body about Education Fee Planning. Jin Cai International School, which is located in the Pudong District, No. 26 E Shan Lu, is a government-operated and owned campus with teaching staff from around the world.
International parents gathered for the first of many afternoon coffee sessions to learn about when to start saving for their children’s education. Principal Ms. Christina Hill attended this presentation and was very passionate about the subject of how to get finances in order as her children are in college and balancing this challenge.
Senior Partner Jon Holand clarified the different cost of living and studying abroad, he explained about the growing trend in student loans, and he set up examples of how much you need to save for your child’s education as well as showed the difference starting early can make compared to if you wait until your child is already five years old. The parents who joined the seminar are now more confident about how to save for their children’s college educations.
