Thank you to all of the Austen Morris Associates staff members who headed out to Century Park for the More Than Aware Run (MTA). Shanghai’s Austen Morris Associates team ‘greened up’ and teamed up with Community Center Shanghai for its first MTA Family Fun Run and Walk on Saturday May 4th, 2013. The day was a huge success with participants from all across the Shanghai area running for a great cause.
More Than Aware is a non-profit organization that goes beyond awareness of breast cancer…its goal is to educate and inspire women to proactively improve their overall health and live a cleaner lifestyle. The organization, started by Suzanne Calton in 2011, offers free outreach programs throughout the city focusing on proactive prevention, wellness, and support. Community Center Shanghai (CCS) partnered up for this opportunity to host a fun and family-friendly event.
The breast cancer movement is synonymous with the well-known “pink ribbon.” But this year, a new color has been added to the palette … green! Thank you to the Austen Morris Associates team and to all of the participants for making this a success and we look forward to continuing to support this wonderful initiative.
