AMA Private Client Dinner at Jean -Georges 3 on the Bund

Austen Morris Associates’ Senior Partner Jon Holand hosted another successful Private Client Dinner at 3 on the Bund on Wednesday the 8th of November.
The evening started with a Champagne reception at the exclusive, by invitation only ‘Whisper Club’, located on the 7th floor. Whisper is a quaint and private place which was the perfect setting for the beginning of an sumptuous and special AMA Private Client event. Our guests enjoyed JG’s preferred Champagne of Perrier Jouet and delicious bites of Iberico Pork Neck with Potato Espuma & Chives along with Cherry Tomato, Mozzarella & Pesto canapés.
Our guests and their host Jon Holand made their way to the 4th floor to the Private Dining room at Jean-Georges.
The discerning cuisine at Jean-Georges Shanghai features a mix of the finest natural ingredients blended together in unique and surprising ways that light up the eyes and the taste buds. We were very pleased to have Jean-Georges Vongerichten in the kitchen himself on the night and even more so when he came to meet our guests in person.
Once seated, Senior Partner Jon Holand welcomed those in attendance on behalf of AMA and Hansard International, the theme of the evening was simply to enjoy the food, wine and conversation.
Dinner was a five-course degustation with dishes that included Foie Gras Brûlé, Dried Sour Cherries & Candied Pistachios to start, followed by a Butternut Squash soup with wild mushrooms, a main of Beef Tenderloin, Potato Purée, Broccolini & Miso Mustard Butter all of which were rounded out by dessert – JG’s Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream, and then suitably finished off with JG’s Petits Fours. All dishes were complimented with red and white wine pairings during the course of the evening.
Austen Morris Associates would like to thank our clients who joined us for this wonderful evening of good food, fine wine and great conversations.
