AMA Host Private Client Dinner at Heritage by Madison

On Wednesday the 4th of November 2020, Austen Morris Associates Senior Partner Jon Holand had the pleasure of hosting another world-class Private Client Dinner, the first one of 2020.

We wanted to support our local community and friends in the F&B industry, Heritage by Madison was the perfect choice and venue, an upscale gem located on the ground-floor space at South Bund’s Bund Finance Center. The restaurant was founded by world-renowned chef, the late Austin Hu, a prominent figure in the F&B community, a friend, and all-around great guy, nothing was ever too much trouble for Austin.

The evening hosted by Senior Partner Jon Holand, along with Consultants, Mario Mitov, Sophie Norris and Willem Le Roux was started by welcoming our guests with a sparkling reception. Managing Senior Partner James Colclough and his wife Coco along with other esteemed clients and guests had the chance to unwind, relax and mingle over a few drinks before dinner.

The four-course culinary experience started with a delectable Truffled Three Chicken Consume, followed by some small bites to share, Golden Rye Mantou with edamame hummus, Chilled Eggplant with romesco, smoked almonds drizzled in cold-pressed sesame oil, and Charred Octopus – with kimchi & saffron aioli.   The main course, was a mouth-watering USDA Tri-Tip Beef, perfectly cooked and served with mushroom ragu & potato puree, two delicious side dishes of brined string beans & shredded tofu,  brussel sprouts with a touch of bacon jam completed the course. Our dining experience ended on a high note, a perfectly executed, decadent Winter Panna Cotta with berry coulis.

The evening was a huge success, with everything coming together perfectly, from the amazing venue, the stunning décor to the fantastic food and impeccable service from Sebastien and the team at Heritage by Madison – our clients and guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves, making this Private Client Dinner another truly memorable experience.

We look forward to hosting our next Private Client Dinner in the very near future.
