AMA at Shanghai Family’s 11th International School Expo

This past weekend, Austen Morris Associates were proud to be part of Shanghai Family’s 11th International School Expo at THE PLACE, Hongqiao. The annual International School Expo has become a massive part of the Shanghai Community Calendar.

This year’s event had three core themes: International EducationArt and Eco-Protection. At the heart of the event were children showcasing their talents on stage. This Saturday was the final round of the “Eco Future” English Speech, where children voiced their concerns for an eco-friendly and sustainable future and suggested solutions. The speeches were perfectly articulated, thought-provoking and highlighted the current problems we face in the world today. Throughout the weekend, the stage was full of students showing their creative performances at the Shanghai Family Art Festival, including an excellent display of artworks created by children from 82 different schools around China.  To add to the excitement of the 2-day event, Austen Morris Associates gave everyone who visited our booth the chance to win an iPad; the winner will be announced via our WeChat account next week.

The event was a chance for families to learn more about Shanghai’s International Schools by meeting representatives face-to-face, including family-focused companies and exhibitors from, Medical & Sports Institutions, Study Tour Agencies, Environmental Protection Institutions. Our team enjoyed speaking to the parents about the benefits of planning for their children’s education. With education costs continually rising, it’s essential to start planning early, setting aside a reasonable amount of money each month and taking advantage of the tax benefits available to expatriates.

Thank you to everyone that visited us this weekend, the community is at the heart of our business, and we look forward to seeing you all soon. We wish you the best of luck in our iPad draw.
